In Screen printing ( just like using stencils to print ) every color needs its own screen, this is the most economical way of printing high quantities especially when your image is in spot colors.
Screen print ink which is called "Plastisol ink" requires up to 15 second drying time in 350 Deg. Fahrenheit. There are special inks and additives that can be added to the ink to reduce the time and heat for heat sensitive garment. Also adding stretch additive to let the ink stretch when it's printed on stretchy fabrics.
When printed on any garments, we only use the most environmental friendly inks that are safe for kids.
Doesn't matter if it is one shirt or 10,000 shirts. There has to be minimum of 3 people involved. That is why screen printing is not meant for small quantity projects.
And of course not bringing up the time and effort it takes to create the screens, set up, mixing ink, test and test and test .... before production.
